  • The free protest service is offered in an attempt to prove to the community that we are competent in several real estate services. The protest is always 100% free with no contingencies or bait and switch tactics. We just ask our clients to consider us when choosing who to list with, buy, or order appraisals from. While not everyone will win their protest, we help our clients ensure they have all the exemptions they are entitled to and in some cases get refunds when they are owed money (not everyone will get a refund).

  • Yes, unless you are located in Collin County. Collin County does not allow homeowners to change their protest if they hired an agent and the agent filed a protest for them. All other counties we serve allow for a new agent to take place for an already filed protest.

  • The free property tax protest isn’t the only free service we provide. We also help homeowners time their refinance transactions to ensure they get the best value depending on their market and time of year. Many homeowners get excited about rates lowering so they try and refinance, only to have the appraisal come back low because they weren’t aware of the market conditions. This results in lost dollars paid for an appraisal, which in some cases can exceed $1,000. In addition, we can help buyers get more favorable loan terms with assumptions when they are available. Having a true market expert in your pocket gives you many advantages outside of a typical real estate agent’s expertise. Lastly, we give an itemized breakdown of commissions and fees associated with any services you pay for, ensuring complete and total tranpsarency.

  • The lowest fee we charge for typical appraisals is $500. When properties and situations become more complex, they can go higher than $1,000. The most expensive appraisals tend to be divorce, litigation, estate settlement, and other legal situations where the appraisal will be under significantly more scrutiny and expert witness testimony may be required.

  • I like to meet face to face. I believe in a personal approach so anyone who works with me will usually meet me in person at some point. I perform full inspections to ensure your square footage is accurate with the county, take pictures for your protest, reach out to contractors when needed, and ultimately prove that I am as reliable as a real estate professional can be. I provide value to YOU before ever asking for your business.
